Sunday was another grey Floriday so I thought a little bling might be appropriate!
I prepared the canvas sheet using various molding pastes for additional texture and once dry covered it with Raw Umber. Then Iridescent Bronze, Iridescent Deep Gold, Iridescent Bright Silver and Iridescent White were all applied with various shapes & sizes of palette knives to encourage the texture to be definitive.
This is a color story not usual for me, but it was exciting to work with these unusual colors and the finished painting has far more color reflection, history and depth than the photo can really reveal.
Enjoy and plan for sunny weather on Monday!
