"Fluidity # 12"

This is the last piece for now using the rubber catalyst 
and the colors are Prussian Blue & white.
Working on paper rather than canvas, produced more 
intense colors due to immediate absorbency.

On my previous blog post I attached a website link to Seungyoon Choi 
from Seoul, who is brilliant at this technique.

More fluid magic! Especially compelling are the contrasts—deep Prussian blue against bright white background, the flat matte absorption of the spread paint vs the raised shiny trail of squeezed unspread paint. Also a magnet for the eyes: the transparencies with their revelations, the little ribbon of white overlapped but not entirely covered, and the blend of white and blue like cream being stirred into coffee (or blueberry juice?). Way cool that you heard from Seungyoon Choi.
